Chase Cooper Creates for Herself First

By: Chase Cooper
Pronouns (She/Her)

“I create and live for myself FIRST, not for perfection or perception online.”

Chase Cooper is twenty years old and creates as @ChasesBeauty out of Delaware. Beauty, fashion, wellness — the surface of her work looks familiar. What sits underneath it does not.

She is less interested in the aesthetic than in what the aesthetic is for.

The Work

“I create content centered around intentional living, beauty, and fashion. My goal is to inspire women to become the best version of themselves through personal growth, self-care, confidence, and intentional lifestyle choices. So whether I’m sharing beauty tips, style inspiration, wellness habits, or lessons from my own journey, the ultimate goal is to create content that encourages women to grow with purpose and show up as the woman they want to be!”

Taking Herself Seriously

For Chase, the shift did not come from a follower count or a brand deal. It came from realising what her own story could do for someone else.

“The moment I started taking myself seriously as a creator was when I realized my story had the power to shift someone else’s perspective. Sharing my own experiences in real life made me understand that authenticity and vulnerability creates connection. I believe that’s what our generation is craving…genuine connection. People want to feel seen, heard and understood. With this we are reminded that growth isn’t always linear. While I love creating beautiful, aesthetically pleasing content, I never want that to overshadow the heart of what I do. My goal is to encourage honest conversations and remind people that they’re capable of becoming the person they want to be.”

What People Don’t Expect

Perspective is usually credited to age. Chase came by hers a different way.

“One thing people often don’t expect is my mindset, especially because I’m only 20 years old. Many assume that perspective comes with age, but a lot of my growth has come from learning through difficult experiences and choosing to see every setback as a lesson. Those moments taught me how to adapt, pivot, and move forward with intention. They continue to shape not only who I am as a person but also the message I want to share through my content.”

Breaking Assumptions

The assumption she runs into most often is that the ease is real.

“One thing people often assume about me is that I haven’t experienced real challenges or hardships. Social media has a way of making it seem like everyone else has it figured out, when in reality, most people are only sharing their highlights. I’ve learned that comparison can quietly steal your joy if you let it, so I’ve made a conscious choice to focus on my own growth and my own life instead of external validation. I create and live for myself FIRST, not for perfection or perception online.”

Looking Forward

Asked what she wants more of in media, her answer was one word, and then the reason behind it.

“Authenticity. I think people are craving spaces where they can see both the beauty and the process behind it—the growth, the uncertainty, and the unfiltered moments that shape who we become.”

Beyond the Content

And what she hopes outlasts any of it:

“I want to be known for inspiring people to live with greater intention and purpose. I hope my work encourages others to believe that meaningful change is possible through the small choices they make every day. If someone walks away feeling more confident, more grounded, or more motivated to create a life they’re proud of, then I’ve accomplished what I set out to do.”
